Acceptable Use Policy

Messaging.Quest exists to earn inbox placement, not to dodge spam filters. That is the whole point of the product, and this policy is how we keep it true. It is part of our Terms of Service. If you can’t follow it, Messaging.Quest isn’t the right tool for you.

The principle

Mailbox providers now score senders on reputation and real engagement. The way to reach the inbox is to send relevant, wanted, honest messages to the right people — and to stop the moment you’re not welcome. Everything below follows from that.

You must

• Have a lawful basis to contact each recipient, and only reach out to business contacts at companies for genuine B2B purposes relevant to their role.
• Be truthful — accurate sender identity, honest subject lines, no deception.
• Honour every opt-out promptly; once someone unsubscribes, they stay unsubscribed.
• Keep your own product, offer, and claims legal and legitimate.
• Follow the anti-spam and data-protection laws that apply to you and your recipients.

You must not

• Upload or send to purchased, scraped, or rented lists you have no lawful basis to contact, or to consumers (personal, non-business addresses).
• Try to evade spam filters or blocklists — for example disguising content, or rotating domains or identities to dodge a block. (Sending across your own authenticated domains to pace volume is fine; evasion is not.)
• Use false, misleading, or spoofed headers, sender names, or subject lines.
• Send prohibited or harmful content: anything illegal, malware or phishing, hateful or harassing material, sexual or adult content, or promotions for regulated goods you aren’t licensed to sell.
• Impersonate a person or organisation, or harass recipients who have said no.
• Disable, bypass, or overload the safeguards below, or the platform itself (including scraping our service or abusing its APIs).

What we do to keep sending clean

These protections are built in and you agree not to work around them:

• Domains registered for your project and authenticated with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Every address verified before it can be sent to; invalid and risky ones are held back.
• Paced sending with automatic pause when spam or bounce rates drift toward the danger line.
• One-click unsubscribe on every message and a suppression list that is always honoured.
• No open- or click-tracking pixels that would hurt trust or deliverability.

Enforcement

If we see a breach — or activity that threatens recipients, deliverability, or our providers — we may pause sending, remove content, or suspend or terminate the account, with notice where practical. Serious or repeated abuse ends the account.
